Watching the impact of the pandemic on our non-profit sector has been heart-wrenching. Hundreds of thousands of dollars of lost revenue from canceled fundraisers and diminishing donations are making it difficult to continue providing the services we all know are critical.  At the Foundation, we knew we needed to explore the role we could play to keep the non-profits positioned to fulfill their missions.  A PIVOT Committee was formed. We explored ideas from the philanthropic sector, weighed each one against sound financial practices, good stewardship, and the obligation to continued growth for the future of the Foundation.  I am pleased to share our PIVOT Plan.

In order to provide additional support to the non-profit sector, now through the end of the year, gifts to the Legacy Fund will be divided 50/50: half to the 2021 Legacy Grants (NOW) — half to the Legacy Endowment Fund (For EVER).

 With a goal of $100,000, we (YOU and the ACCF) can make a significant impact NOW and For EVER. The organizations you have always entrusted us to support are in need. The need for their services still drives their work but they must also learn to navigate through this time of unprecedented crisis.

 It is more important than ever that we come together, as partners, to see the non-profits in our community through this pandemic. Please make your donation today.
