On Thursday, December 4 about 100 people were in attendance for the Allegan Area Chamber of Commerce’s second annual Holiday After Hours. Once again the event proved to be a relaxing evening—apart from some heated bidding during the live auction—among friends and colleagues, with ample opportunities for catching up and networking while enjoying appetizers from the Lynx Grill, and entertainment provided by Clearwater. The Holiday-splendor of the Lynx was again magnificent.
The Holiday After-Hours Committee is deeply appreciative of the support shown the Chamber by donating businesses and individuals. The silent and live auctions at the event featured everything from fine art and gift baskets to golf packages, a La-Z-Boy recliner, rolling tool chest, and dinner for a week at area restaurants. A special thank-you to Clearwater, auctioneer Chad TerAvest, and at the Lynx Golf Course, General Manager Jim Szilagyi, Grill Manager Kim Gillies, Chef Matt Palmer and their staffs.
