The Allegan Area Chamber of Commerce seeks candidates for its Board of Directors. The positions are for three years (January 2018 – December 2020). To be considered for the Board of Directors, you must be employed by a member business, a member of a member organization, or be an individual Community Partner member. Board meetings occur on the third Wednesday of each month at 8:45 AM and are held at the Allegan Area Educational Service Agency Administration Building.
The Allegan Area Chamber of Commerce traces its history back to the Allegan Board of Trade, formed by local business leaders in 1905. Since that time, a lot has changed, but not the Allegan Area Chamber of Commerce’s commitment to function as a catalyst for business growth and community development.
There is an unmistakable buzz about town with the recent expansions of existing businesses, openings of new businesses, and the impressive slate of projects ready to commence.
