Gun Lake Casino and Saugatuck Brewing Company have teamed up to create a beer to be served exclusively at Gun Lake Casino.
The exclusive Match-E-Batch IPA has hints of juniper, coriander, and citrus. Brewed with centennial, cascade, chinook, and saaz hops, along with gin-inspired botanicals, Match-E-Batch is light bodied, clean tasting. The beer opens with citrus and pine aromas and finishes with an herbal-peppery hoppiness.
“The Match-E-Batch is a unique IPA that is the perfect blend for a spring and summer beverage,” said Jeremy Palmer, director of beverage for Gun Lake Casino. “We’re excited to work with Saugatuck Brewing Company to provide this new flavor to our guests that both seasoned and novice craft beer drinkers can enjoy.”
Both Palmer and Patti Scarff, certified cicerone and beverage manager for Gun Lake Casino, worked closely with Saugatuck Brewing company to develop the Match-E-Batch recipe, assisting in choosing the ingredients, and participating in the brewing process.
The Match-E-Batch IPA gets its name from the Match-E-Be-Nash-She-Wish Band of Pottawatomi Indians who own and operate Gun Lake Casino. This IPA will have limited availability at all Gun Lake Casino bars for just $3 beginning May 1.
