Nestled in the woods on the shores of Lake Allegan, Whisper Ridge offers two unique accommodations.  Our restored 1893 Grand Trunk Western caboose is a stay like no other, offering luxury while retaining a true railroad heritage.  Our 2-room Franklin suite in our log home sets you in an entire private floor with bedroom, Jacuzzi bath and separate sitting room complete with fireplace, all overlooking the lake.

Franklin Suite:

Big Red:

Stay in an authentic, fully restored 1893 railroad caboose.  This charming wooden Grand Trunk Western #77920 caboose retains a period feel while offering modern amenities.  Fully outfitted including bath with shower, kitchenette and cozy reading perch up in the cupola, it offers a feel of history in today’s world.  The tiered bunks are half-queen sized with premium mattresses.  Electric heat, flat screen TV and audio system.  Yes, even WiFi.  Click here for Big Red Amenities
