Patrick and Tanya Westover celebrated the Grand Opening of Tantrick Brewing Company with an Allegan Area Chamber of Commerce Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on Friday, July 27. Tantrick is located at 633 Hooker Road.
Tantrick is passionate about bringing outstanding beer using the freshest and finest ingredients to Allegan, and creating a new and exciting venue for local artists who share their love for music and beer. “Our beer is brewed for you, we want you to Love your Beer” said the Westovers. Large crowds of craft beer lovers throughout the Grand Opening weekend seemed more than a little enamored with Tantrick’s initial offerings.
Speaking of craft beer aficionados, they’ll want to hurry up and join Tantrick’s Mug Club and start taking advantage of Member-only events, discounts on Sunday Fun-Day, merchandise, growler/howler fills, prerelease tickets for special brews, and more. And, Mug Club Members get to drink out of a hand-blown mug of their choosing.
The inspiration for the Tantrick brand is a stained glass piece made by Patrick’s late Grandfather, John Overloop. Lovingly referred to as “the Other Woman”, she is depicted as a visionary on a mural painted by local artist, Shelly Lafountain in the Tantrick Taproom.
