ALLEGAN, Michigan – The Allegan County Community Foundation (ACCF) introduced its new Executive Director Stephanie Calhoun during the ACCF Ribbon Cutting on September 21, 2021.  The delayed ribbon cutting celebrated the Foundation’s purchase of the old City Hall in 2019 and subsequent move.  The staff is happily settled in their new space and forging ahead.

Stephanie has more than two decades of experience in the non-profit and volunteer sector.  Being involved in groups such as a community-built playground, Navy Family Readiness Groups, Parent/Teacher Organizations, Higher Education Advancement, Community, as well as an Education Foundation and a non-profit Library. She holds a Master of Science in Administration-Philanthropy and Fundraising from Central Michigan University.

“I appreciate the board’s confidence and support.  I am very excited to continue the amazing legacy of philanthropy and neighbors helping neighbors in Allegan County.”  Calhoun said. “I am thankful for all that came before me that have worked hard to build a solid Foundation.  I will continue that work to enhance the ACCF with fund development and relationship building across the entire county.”
